FAQs

Immunotherapy is about priming the immune system to identify and attack cancer cells and is recognised as the future of cancer treatment. Innovita Life is at the forefront of the fight against cancer which can also be given with more traditional treatments of cancer such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery

Cell immunotherapy harnesses the body’s immune system to identify and destroy cancer cells. Immunotherapy can be used to treat most types of cancer including, pancreatic, lung, colon, breast, and melanomas. In fact, all solid tumours and metastases.

Cancer thrives when your immune system is not working correctly. Cancer hides which makes it difficult for the immune system to recognise and destroy malignant cells. Cell immunotherapy is at the cutting edge of today’s cancer treatment that works by using your body’s own immune system (or a replacement immune system) to identify and fight cancer cells.  Cell immunotherapy uses your blood to cultivate Dendritic Cells (as an example of one approach) which are then primed with antigens to identify and destroy cancer cells before being reintroduced via a vaccine.  It’s a natural, minimally invasive, pain free process with none of the unpleasant side-effects associated with more traditional cancer treatments like chemotherapy.

Immunotherapy moves the field of cancer care an unprecedented step forward toward precision cancer therapies. Unlike traditional treatments of cancer, such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy, immunotherapy precisely targets and destroys the corrupted cancer cells, without harming healthy cells.  This makes it possible to deliver more targeted cancer treatment without the side effects associated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

The medical profession is aware of dendritic cell therapy but it is not yet a mainstream treatment for cancer. It is not necessary for your doctor or clinic to refer you for cell immunotherapy treatment. However, it is necessary for your doctor to provide your full medical history and status.  Full details about how cell immunotherapy treatment works, results, side effects and eligibility will be provided during your consultation with Innovita Life’s cell immunotherapy experts.

Yes, cell immunotherapy can be administered prior to or in conjunction with more traditional cancer treatment paths, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery. Studies have shown that cancer survival rates can be increased when cell immunotherapy has been administered alongside chemotherapy or other traditional cancer treatments.

Once the cell immunotherapy vaccine has been administered it will remain active for up to 2 years and more. However, it is important to remember that every patient is different and reacts differently to both traditional and cell immunotherapy cancer treatments. Therefore, how long after the treatment you will start to see the results will depend upon your individual immune system. There are other immunotherapy approaches that act immediately and are prescribed for patients that need immediate assistance.

Treatments are administered at our clinic in Lithuania or at our partner clinic in Dubai. Some treatments can be self-administered and would only require collection from our clinic where training on application will be given by a member of the medical team as well as the first application of treatment.

Every patient’s medical health and medical situation is different therefore it is not possible to provide a one-size-fits-all cost for this type of treatment for cancer. The cost of the treatment will depend upon your specific cancer and medical status. Get in touch to request a free confidential consultation.

Every patient is different. However, compared to more traditional forms of treatment for cancer, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery, cell immunotherapy has results with significant improvements in patient survival rates and quality of life when a response is achieved.
